The church in Sardis was not rooted well in the Good News of Jesus, so much so that Jesus did not have one good thing to say about them. Although, Jesus gave them a plan for redemption. We too, can follow the plan Sardis was given if we need.

The church in Thyatira was doing a lot of good things, and they were doing them well, with constant improvement. However, They were allowing immoral behavior to take place without holding anyone accountable.

Ps. Chip continues our series on the Book of Revelation. In His third letter, Jesus addresses the church in Pergamum, to which He addresses how they have compromised their witness for Him. This church went from one of the most committed churches for the Gospel to one of the most corrupt.

In His letter the church in Smyrna, Jesus addresses what they have in common, persecution. Jesus give a message of hope to those who endure persecution, as well as a warning to those who refuse to believe in Him.
