We are starting a new series today about the change people experience when they have an encounter with Jesus. Today, we look at a lady from the Gospel of Luke whose life was transformed with forgiveness through an act of worship.

Join us as we talk about the hope that only the resurrection of Jesus can provide.

As we look at the significance of what Palm Sunday represents, we look at the three groups of people who were present on that day, what each perspective was, and how does this play out in our personal lives?

Today, we talk about the mission work in Brazil and the part of our Easter offering that will go toward the water filter project in the Amazon Region. We also hear from Ramon at the Portel Vineyard and how they are doing, as well as Rob Gibson, who has been to Brazil on a number trips.

In preparation for VCC's Easter offering, today we are promoting the feeding of children mission in  Haiti. Steve Fitterer oversees the Haiti missions and he shares with us how the program is going.

He's back! Ps. Dave shares with us what he's been up to lately, as well as the importance of water baptism. Also, in preparation for VCC's Easter offering we talk about one of three missions we support and that is the wheelchairs in Vietnam.

As we finish this series, we look at how to deal with overwhelming situations, as well as how we can draw near to God and allow Him to fight our battles for us.

We are all going to deal with troubles at some time or another. How can we follow Jesus through the storm and come out better for it?

Today we talk about how to prepare for the storms in life, and how the Word of God can be our anchor in the midst of storms.

Kim Richardson starts off this sermon series titled, "Better For It." Kim shares with us how to allow God to see us through trials that life throws our way, and come out better for it when it over.
